Dear Delegates,
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) is a program which was established by the United Nations General Assembly on 11th of December 1946, fully intent on safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children around the world. It works with children in 190 nations, with the fundamental objective to ensure their fair and equal development and treatment, regardless of sex, race, nationality or religion. UNICEF works to help children in multiple areas, such as gender equality, access to education, improvement in healthcare and nutrition, in order to guarantee a safe and healthy life for them.
As presidents of this committee, we expect the delegates to make their best effort and to research the topics in depth, so that they will be able to appreciate the knowledge they will gain from this experience. We are here to assist with any inquiries that you may have about the committee.
Yours sincerely,
Emilia and Mariana
